Randstad, the Dutch multinational recruitment firm, was in need of developing a new concept for their Italian branch in Turin, choosing ISG for both design and construction. After an initial site survey, ISG conducted a test-fit phase before starting the concept which led to the developed design in readiness for the fit out works.
Due to the project’s location, logistics were a challenge during the construction phase. The branch was located on the top floor of a multi-tenanted building in the city centre.
ISG had to take all reasonable measures to keep disruption and interferences to the other tenants to a minimum. The first measure being a detailed logistic plan for the execution of works and maintaining a clean and tidy site at all times.
ISG carried out an initial strip-out of the pre-existing flooring, ceilings and M&E systems.
The fit out works included the restoration of all external windows and balconies, the installation of new plasterboard ceilings and flooring, glazed partitions, new multi-coloured paintings, as well as the installation of new M&E systems, including data cabling. Our team was also responsible for the co-ordination of the direct supplier for the installation of final furniture.
ISG produced a comfortable working environment with a combination of enclosed office spaces, a large meeting room and four interview booths, across an approximate area of 270 sq m.
“I want to thank ISG for their effort and professionalism, showing what high-quality construction management means and how an excellent general contractor can make the difference.”
