Introduction

TWINSET, the Italian luxury brand in female clothing, awarded ISG the fit out of their new store, located in the renowned Corso Buenos Aires, one of the most attractive shopping venues in Milan. From permit requests through to completion, ISG worked collaboratively against a tight and difficult time-frame spanning across the summer period to deliver in time for the store’s grand opening.

The project

The installation of new MEP systems proved quite challenging. Due to the presence of pre-existing HVAC systems underneath the floors and ceilings (which were discovered during the strip out), our team needed to liaise with the building administration and their facility team in order to completely replace the systems.

Ahead of commencing construction work, the team applied to obtain all necessary permits to plan the site set up and start with the strip-out of the pre-existing retail premises. The scope of works involved the removal of the remaining spiral stairs and the construction of a new hole for a tailor-made staircase leading to the basement, where a storage area was located.

Fit out works involved new parquet flooring, paintings, plasterboard walls and ceilings, as well as the installation of a new shopfront and furniture across the approximate 200 sq m sales area. The team also provided assistance to the various client direct vendors (IT, security and furniture) and co-ordinated the installation of all light fittings which were procured directly from TWINSET.

“I would like to seize the opportunity to personally thank ISG for their collaboration and professionalism. We are very pleased with the final result and completely satisfied by the whole team.”
